These rules keep Omni FinOps safe and fair for every team that uses it. They apply to everyone with access, and they’re part of our Terms of Service.
In short
- Connect only what you’re allowed to read, keep your login to yourself, and treat people with respect.
- Don’t attack, overload, scrape or work around the service or its limits.
- Break these rules and we may limit, suspend or end your access, and report illegal activity.
This summary helps you read the text below; the full text is what applies.
Good practice
- Connect only cloud accounts you own or are authorized to read, using the read-only setup the app gives you.
- Keep your password and sessions secure, sign out on shared devices, and give each teammate their own login.
- Keep comments clear and professional. Every status change keeps its comment, so your team can see who decided what, and why.
- Review every suggested command before you run it, try it outside production first when you can, and keep backups.
- Add only alert recipients who expect those emails.
- If you find a bug or a security problem, tell us at [email protected] and give us a reasonable time to fix it before you share it.
Not allowed
- Accessing, or trying to access, accounts, companies or data that aren’t yours.
- Sharing logins, or working around plan or trial limits (companies, seats, clouds, tracked spend, AI questions, refreshes, or the limits for moving to a smaller plan), access controls or other security measures, including opening several accounts to repeat the free trial.
- Creating accounts with bots or scripts, or trying to get around our bot protection.
- Probing, scanning or testing the service’s security without our written permission.
- Overloading or disrupting the service: denial of service, excessive automated requests, or scraping.
- Copying, reselling or white-labeling the service without an agreement with us, or reverse engineering it beyond what the law allows.
- Using the service for anything illegal, to infringe others’ rights, or to process data you have no right to process.
- Uploading malware, or putting sensitive personal data (health data, government IDs, passwords, payment card numbers) in names, tags, comments or AI questions.
- Using the alert emails to send spam or messages people didn’t ask for.
- Harassing, threatening or discriminating against anyone, including our team.
Using the AI analyzer
Ask it about your cloud spend, usage, resources and budgets. Don’t use it to produce unrelated content, try to extract its instructions, or get around the monthly AI question limit. Its answers come from your data, so check them before you act.
What happens if the rules are broken
We respond in proportion to the problem. We may warn you, remove content, limit features, or suspend or end access, as our Terms describe. When the security of the service or the law requires it, we may act without warning, and we report illegal activity to the authorities.
If you think we got it wrong, write to [email protected] and a person at Trillo.CR will review it.
Report a problem
To report abuse, a security issue or content that breaks these rules, email [email protected] with as much detail as you can. Never include passwords or secret keys in your report.
