Terms of Service
Last updated October 10, 2026
Contents
These terms are the agreement between you and Trillo.CR (“we”, “us”), the company behind Omni FinOps (“the service”). By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you use it for a company, you confirm you may accept them on its behalf, and “you” includes that company.
They work together with our Privacy Policy, our Acceptable Use Policy and, for business customers, the Data Processing Addendum on our Trust & DPA page.
In short
- Omni FinOps only reads your cloud. It never changes it: you decide on and run every fix yourself.
- Your data stays yours. You can export or delete a company’s data at any time, and we don’t sell it or use it to train AI.
- Savings, forecasts and AI answers are estimates from your data, not guarantees.
- The free trial shows the service on your own bill, with limits. Fixes, console links and exports unlock when you subscribe.
- You can switch plans any time, but you can move to a smaller plan only once your account fits its limits. Until then, remove what’s over or contact us.
- Plans are sold and billed by Polar, our merchant of record. They renew each month or year until you cancel, and paid periods aren’t refunded unless the law requires it.
- We may change these terms and our prices, and limit, suspend or end access when the rules are broken or the law requires it. We’ll tell you ahead of time whenever we can.
This summary helps you read the text below; the full text is what applies.
What Omni FinOps does
Omni FinOps reads cost, inventory, usage metrics and list prices from the cloud accounts you connect, using read-only access you grant. From that data it explains your spend, flags anomalies, suggests savings, forecasts the month and splits cost by team.
It never creates, changes or deletes anything in your cloud. Each suggested fix comes with the command to run with your own credentials, and nothing changes until you run it.
The clouds you can connect are listed in the app under Cloud accounts. A cloud marked “Coming soon” can’t be connected yet.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
- Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and use one login per person.
- Verify your email address with the link we send you before you use the service. If you forget your password, we email a reset link to that address.
- You’re responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else is using it, tell us at [email protected] right away.
Trials, plans and pricing
Plans, prices and limits are on our Plans page. Starter, Growth and Scale are billed monthly, or yearly at ten months’ price for twelve. Enterprise, for cloud bills over the Scale limit, is by written agreement: email [email protected].
Seats and teams. Your plan's seats count you, the people who joined your team and pending invites. Team members see and work on every company on your account, on your plan; billing, invites and deleting companies stay with you. You're responsible for who you invite and what they do in your account, and you can remove anyone at any time.
Free trial. Your first plan choice starts a 14-day free trial of that plan, with no card. The trial lets you see the service on your own bill, with these limits, whatever plan you chose: 1 company, 2 clouds, 3 seats, 25 AI questions, and the pages up to the Growth plan; one data refresh a day; alert emails go only to your own verified address; and the exact fix commands, runbook export, report downloads and direct links into your cloud console unlock when you subscribe. One trial per customer. If the trial ends without a subscription, refreshes and alerts stop and the app shows only your account pages: your data stays stored, and subscribing shows it again.
Subscribing. You subscribe from the Plans page in the app through Polar’s checkout. Polar Software, Inc. (“Polar”) is our merchant of record: it sells you the subscription as our reseller, charges your payment method, adds sales tax or VAT where it applies, and issues your receipts and invoices. Polar’s terms also apply to your purchase.
Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel. You can update your payment method or cancel any time from Subscription in the app, which opens Polar’s billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the paid features until the period ends. Periods already paid aren’t refunded unless the law requires it. If a payment fails, Polar retries it, and paid features stop if it can’t be collected.
Changing plans. You change plans from the Plans page in the app. During the free trial, switching plans keeps the trial’s original end date. On a subscription, the change takes effect right away and Polar prorates the price difference for the rest of the current period. You can move to a smaller plan only when your account fits that plan’s limits: its companies, seats (pending invites included), connected clouds, and tracked cloud spend over the last 30 days. Until it does, the change is blocked. To make it fit, remove what’s over, for example by deleting a company, removing a team member or disconnecting a cloud, or contact support at [email protected] and we’ll help.
We may change our prices and plans. A price change that affects you takes effect at your next billing period, at least 30 days after we tell you by email or in the app. If you don’t accept it, you can cancel before it applies.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes, which Polar adds at checkout where they apply.
Your data
You own the data you bring to the service: your cloud data, comments, budgets, plans and the rest. You let us store and process it only to provide the service to you, as our Privacy Policy describes. Where we process personal data on your behalf, the Data Processing Addendum on our Trust & DPA page applies and forms part of these terms.
- We don’t sell your data, show you ads, or use your data to train AI models.
- You can export a company’s data as JSON, and erase or delete it, at any time from Company settings.
- We back up the database every day, encrypted and off-site, and keep each backup no more than 30 days.
- You can delete your whole account from Profile once any subscription is cancelled: we email you a link to confirm, and opening it deletes the account right away. Backups age out within 30 days. A new account with the same email doesn’t get another free trial.
The access you grant, and the fixes you run
- Connect only cloud accounts you own or are authorized to read, using the read-only setup the app gives you. You can revoke access at any time by removing that role or credential in your cloud.
- You decide whether to run any command we suggest. Review it, try it outside production first when you can, and keep backups. You’re responsible for the changes you make in your cloud.
Estimates and AI answers
Savings, forecasts, anomalies and allocations are estimates built from the data available to the service, such as list prices and 30 days of CPU. Your real bill may differ. Nothing in the service is financial, legal or tax advice.
The AI analyzer computes its answers from your data with fixed rules. When it can’t place a question, an AI model rephrases it first, and that step can misread you. Check the figures before you act on them.
Good conduct
Use the service lawfully and fairly, as our Acceptable Use Policy sets out. It forms part of these terms.
Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove one you rely on, or close the service, we’ll tell you ahead of time when we can and give you time to export your data.
Limiting, suspending or ending access
We reserve the right to limit, suspend or end your access to all or part of the service:
- if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
- if your use puts the security of the service, other customers or us at risk;
- if the law, a court or a competent authority requires it;
- if we close the service.
When we can, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. We’ll tell you why unless the law forbids it, and we’ll let you export your data unless the law or security prevents it. You can stop using the service at any time.
Changes to these terms
We reserve the right to change these terms as the service, the law or our business changes. For a material change, we’ll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the law requires it sooner. If you keep using the service after that date, the new terms apply. If you don’t agree, stop using the service and delete your data.
Our property, and other brands
The service, its software and its design belong to Trillo.CR. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, IBM Cloud and other names and logos belong to their owners. We show them only to name the clouds the service works with; it doesn’t mean they endorse us. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
Warranties and liability
As far as the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or the result of changes you make in your cloud. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for fraud or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
Claims caused by misuse
If someone brings a claim against us because you broke these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or the law, you’ll cover the reasonable costs of that claim.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. If something goes wrong, email us first and we’ll try to resolve it within 30 days. If we can’t, disputes go to the competent courts of San José, Costa Rica, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.
